Our Reopening

To our Evie family,

We hope this email finds you and your families in good health! First we would like to express our gratitude to each, and everyone of you for your continued support and patience during our closure.

Here at Evie, we have always prided ourselves on being sanitary and providing a clean environment for our guests. Moving forward, we have received new guidelines and protocols that apply to both our team and clients. Our team has prepared our space to serve
our guests as safely and comfortably as circumstances permit. Please be assured we are taking every possible precaution to navigate this situation accordingly. The health and well-being of our clients, and our team are of the utmost importance to us, as well as providing excellent
service.

We are happy to announce that we will be reopening June 1st!  Please note that during this stage of reopening phases stylists schedules have changed, and we are now open Sundays. You may begin calling the salon to pre-book your appointments starting today. If we are unable to answer please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Below we have included all of the COVID-19 safety policies, please take the opportunity to familiarize yourself with them as you await your next appointment.  We understand these policies may change your usual salon experience, but please understand these measures are necessary to keep everyone safe. We look forward to our new experiences together as we move forward through our reopening phases.

 

MANDATORY SAFETY PROCEDURES FOR STAFF AND CLIENTS:

  • The waiting area will be closed, we ask that you please let Lucy know that you are here and she will let you know if your stylist is ready. If not please wait outside. We have chairs and an umbrella set up. Lucy will text /or call to let you know your stylist is ready.

  • Mask must be worn inside at all times

  • Please use our sanitation station at the entrance of the salon or wash your hands upon entering

  • We are currently operating by appointment only, no walkins. Please schedule your appointment by phone.

  • We are encouraging pre-booking to avoid crowding at the front desk. It’s a good idea to have some times ready before checkout.

 

CLIENT POLICIES:

  • Masks with loops around the ear preferred for any hair service color clients please wear disposable mask, if possible -- your favorite mask might get color on it.

  • As an extra precaution, please come to your appointment with clean dry hair

  • We’re asking that you come in with as few personal belongings as possible; phone, keys, wallets, and that you keep phone usage to a minimum.

  • Clients must come alone for scheduled appointments

  • Please be respectful of everyone in the salon and practice social distance, including your stylist (sorry this means no hugs for now)

  • Our retail will be handled by staff only so please ask your stylist if you need any products

  • If you are feeling sick please reschedule your appointment

  • Please help us with this transition by being punctual to your appointment

  • We ask that you please wash your hand upon entering the salon. There is a sanitizing station with sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizer by the front door. Of course you can use our sink if you prefer.

 

EVIE POLICIES:

  • We will ensure that there are no more than 10 people in the salon at any given time.

  • For the first two weeks of Phase 1 we are not allowed to blow-dry hair

  • There will be a maximum of 4 stylists at a time in the salon

  • Stylists will be fully equipped with PPE (personal protective equipment) that must be changed in between every client

  • We have added time in our schedules in order to thoroughly sanitize our station and tools in between each client

  • Evie is Barbicide COVID-19 certified with up to date proper sanitation and disinfection practices and procedures consistent with the highest industry standards

  • Each stylist station will be equipped with sanitation products

  • We have an air purifier on the premises

  • Unfortunately we will not be serving any drinks at this time, but you are welcome to bring your own

  • If you have recently been test for Covid -19 and haven't received your results please wait to book your appointment until you've received your negative results.

 

FRONT DESK POLICIES:

  • Clients will now check out using a card swiper that is attached to the front desk, for extra safety please sanitize your hands prior to swiping. If you don’t have your own pen we will be sanitizing the pen between use.

  • We are encouraging all clients to pre-book their next appointment, considering we currently have limited availability.

  • We are limiting pre-booking to only two appointments at this time because our schedules might change as we move through reopening phases

  • Please communicate with your stylist if you wish to prebook to reduce standing time at the front desk

  • Please understand that our current schedules are very limited therefore, our 48-hour cancellation policy will be strictly enforced (unless you are sick of course)

  • We may be contacting you for a virtual consultation, depending on your stylist.

  • We are not providing online booking for the time being, please book by phone.

  • We will now be open 7 days a week
